The plastic hose fitting started leaking after less than 2 months. I put up with the leak until the end of the summer and “retired” the hose into the trash.

Not burst proof

I bought one of these hose last summer because the manufacturer claimed it is burst proof and has a 10 warranty. 2 weeks ago the hose burst. I filed a warranty claim but have not heard back from the company. My wife loved the light weight of the hose so I went back and spent $45 for a new one.

Won’t stop leaking

Love the valve at the end, hate this hose. I had high hopes for it and it quickly blew at the joint where it swivels at the attachment. Tried flex seal. Tried JB weld. At this point I’ve got more than $50 in it so I just refuse to let it win. Still leaks everywhere and makes me mad every time I use it

Honestly, pure junk!

Piece of junk. Nearly every time I use it I have to disconnect it from the spigot and shake it to get it to work. There water barely comes out. Whatever your new technology is, you should go back to the drawing board. Better yet, leave what works alone. You know, if it's not broke, DON'T fix it. I blew $40.00 on this hose. Warning!!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

PIECE OF CRAP!!!!!! Connected the HYDROTECH HOSE today for the first time, 4/20/24. Once connected to the water spigot, turned the water on. It started leaking from the plastic coupling connector. Went to check the connection and the coupling busted in half shoot water all over me. I purchased two, luckily I did not open the other HYDROTECH Water Hose. I’ll never purchase a HYDROTECH product again!!! Returning to Walmart this week.

Great while it lasts

It was great while it lasted. Flexible and light weight, I only used it to water the flowers once or twice a day, and one morning it just quit working. There’s plenty of pressure at the faucet, I guess whatever the interior material is, it comes loose or gets balled up and clogs the hose. The thing is barely 4 months old. Would not recommend.

How can I give negative 2 stars and start a lawsuit??? After less than a month of use, the hose spontaneously BURST and caused a welt on my fingers and leg. Caused bleeding under my skin! The hose was under normal use and didn’t start to spray yet when it busted like an extremely loud balloon and injured me. Very scary! Shocked.

burst proof hose, burst in 24 hr

Looked great to start. Seemed better made than the pocket hose. Received and installed yesterday 4/13. Watering my plants tonight and the hose blew apart just below the fitting. So frustrated, this was rated 4.4 stars versus the pocket hose with 2 stars. The guards at the other end has broken also and it has been hung on a hose rack.

Safety Concerns When It Fails

This hose lasted just a little over 3 months with minimal usage. The kicker is that when it failed, it blew off the brass nozzle and sounded like an explosion. The good side is that I got my hand up in front of my face to block it, but now I have a cut, swelling, bruising and in a wrist brace. Will be returning ASAP.
