Brilliant screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well with a Mac mini, 6K resolution gives loads of screen space, have to adjust fonts to make it usable. The speakers not so good; I have an external amp and wall mount speakers to compete with. The usb hub in the back is excellent and has improved desk clutter from my old dual 4k screen setup. Power save works very well.

Perfect Matte Finish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this monitor because I color grade and edit videos for work. This monitor has a fantastic looking finish and is the perfect size for my workspace. This 6K resolution is exactly what I’ve been looking for. And is everything I need to do color grading and video editing. It’s very hefty and has tons of connection points! Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.

THE BEST

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is AMAZING! I'd give it 100/10 stars if I could. First of all, it was extremely easy to assemble took less than a couple of minutes. I just screwed the base together and then snapped on the monitor to the base. Second, it comes with every cord you will need and seamlessly connected to my Mac Mini with HDMI cord that was provided. It is large enough to have multiple programs open at once and the quality is insane! I do a lot of macro work and it didn't pixelate or dilute the quality of my videos to allow for easy editing an review. Review submitted as part of a program that provides a purchase discount.

Hello, Brittney! What an awesome review — your excitement is contagious! Sounds like this monitor slid right into your setup like it was meant to be there. Quick assembly, every cable you needed, and that seamless Mac Mini connection is exactly the smooth start we love hearing about. And the fact that it keeps your macro work crisp without any pixelation? That’s the OLED magic doing its thing. Thanks for sharing your experience and for being part of the review program. The Best Monitor for Professional Color Work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a film editor and cinematographer, and I bought the LG 32U990A-S because I needed truly accurate, clean colors for grading and reviewing footage. After using it daily, I can say this monitor is absolutely worth it. The setup was simple. I plugged it in, adjusted a couple of settings, and the image already looked perfectly calibrated. What impressed me most is the color precision and overall uniformity across the entire screen. Skin tones look natural, shadows and highlights are exactly how I shot them, and I no longer second-guess my grades. The 32” size also gives me enough space for timelines, scopes, and full-screen previews without feeling cramped. It matches the product photos, feels premium in person, and has genuinely improved my workflow. If you work in post-production or care about accurate color, I highly recommend it this is the most reliable monitor I’ve used. Quality display, beautiful design

I recently purchased this monitor and wasn't sure between this and the ultra wide. However having used this now, I am incredibly pleased. The colours are great, and the size is spot on. I came from a 29" ultra wide but it was only 2k. This is a huge upgrade and allows for so much more working area. I mainly use After Effects and Video related apps, and this really suits docking panels and windows. I am not colour grading but I still need colour accurate workflow and so far it's working really well. I think the reviews online are overly critical and I got this on sale, and yes, don't get me wrong, this is still very expensive, but I think you get what you pay for. I had gotten a monitor arm thinking I would need it to adjust the height but the default stand works wonderfully and it's a nice clean design. The design also is lovely and minimal which I am a fan of. My only feedback would be having a headphone jack, and a few additional ports at the base similar to the Ultrawide that has thunderbolt. Also a hole for routing cables in the stand would be great.

Expensive and Nearly Works...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a really nice monitor and complements my MacBook Pro well (I just hope it will be as good with a Mac mini in due course). Downsides are that the auto-brightness setting is too dim. Likewise the M control function has only just started working. The main issue is the price and lack of 120MHz refresh rate.

Mac users STAY AWAY!

If you are a Mac user wanting a calibrated color workflow, STAY AWAY! Their LG Calibration Studio is useless on the Mac. It's written for Intel and requires Rosetta, which will go away with OS 27. Worse yet, when I first bought the monitor, I had difficulty calibrating the monitor with LG Calibration Studio. Now, it won't work at all.

Not as expected

In summary, this monitor's 6K resolution is nice, but it suffers from poor build quality. The back of the case is wavy/warped an indication of poor workmanship. The stand is not very stable and shakes quite easily AND is especially problematic when adjusting the monitor height. Again, the stand is just another shortcut taken on what could be a great monitor. As for the actual panel, it is not very bright. The matte finish makes this even worse as it not only doesn't stop glare, it's impossible to make out what's on the screen when you do have glare. On top of that, mine had a cluster of about 7-8 dead/deformed pixels near the center of the screen.
