snow ski set from Dubro

I found it very difficult to install the spring that keeps the ski level. In fact I gave up!

To whoever

These ski's are nice, but don't use them for a park flier as they are way too heavy. These would be for gas engined planes in the 40-60 class in my opinion. They are however nicely constructed and would be great for that usage.

use for the apprentice?

these skis are great but the apprentice is not the greatest plane to use these skis on. The skis if not utilized on perfectly smooth surfaces will bounce causing movement. the set screw with the spring attached will adjust and when trying to take off the propeller will hit the ski causing the plane to lose power. just as a heads up the skis are very tricky to install on the axle.
