If you love homemade french fries you will love this cutter. Have tried others but this one worked the best and is the safest to use. Your fingers are nowhere near the cutting blades.

We love french fries, but cutting was a chore. As a senior with lots of aches & pains, this beauty makes it not a chore but a quick and easy job. Waiting for zucchini season to try it on.

I love this thing so much, I'm going to get one for my mother as well. It;s great for making homemade fries. It would be easier if there was a good way to anchor it to the counter top though. It is a bit awkward trying to hold it and press the handle.

The pictures and description do not fully show the size. The jaws on this do not permit average (or larger) potatoes to be used without first cutting them into chunks. Other than that, the product is a good value. It cuts easily, it cleans easily, and works very well.

This is an easy to use and easy to clean unit. So far it has held up nicely. I showed my boyfriend how to use it, so now it has become even easier for me :-) But both of us enjoy using it. It makes making french fries very easy, and we bake them, so as to not get extra oil in our diets. Wash the potato's, send them through this cutter, spray them with a little olive oil, add some spices, and put on a lined cookies sheet and in the oven. It really is very easy and you can flavor them however you like, and even flavor some one way and some another way. The cutter is sturdy, and cut through everything we sent its way. Some of the larger potato's we cut in half, then sent them through. The handle feels pretty sturdy, and at least so far, no bend in the metal. I will be getting another one of these in the future, for my son and his girlfriend.

This is a strong slicer for normal kitchen prep work. Cuts well and doesn't bind while cutting. The only draw-back is it has a shorter stroke than I would like. (I have to cut large potatoes in half to make french fries).

Bought this because my nephew loves French fries. Room for a medium but not very large potato. A little pressure is needed. Glad I bought this one instead of one that costs more.

This vegetable cutter made making fresh french fries a breeze. A must have in your kitchen.

Its is not able to cut potato until peeling, so it is not practical, if you try to cut any thing else like cactus you need to part is to very small pieces, so I will try to return it, because I did not use it for more than one time
