It is non-stick, if you use it and care for it correctly. Good heavy, well-made bread pan. Just right for a 1lb. loaf of bread. I love all my Lodge cast iron pots and pans. I' m sure I'll be buying more of them! Also, a huge plus as far as I am concerned is Lodge cast iron pans are all made in the USA!

perfect for baking bread
I absolutely love cooking/baking in cast iron. This loaf pan was a bit smaller then I wanted but did a fantastic job at what I needed it for. My hubby, loves to bake bread. We were using a glass pyrex before using this one, and the cast iron made the loaf come out so much better. It was cooked perfectly even, and a little crisper, than with the pyrex. Another win for cast iron!

Lodge cast iron is a great product. I own several lodge pans. They are durable and with care they will last a lifetime. They cook even and cleaning them is easy. I have made many loaves of bread in my Lodge loaf pan and the bread always comes out beautiful.
