I wouldn't believe it for being a battery operated or charged as you go apparatus but it gets close it does a close shave I'm happy with what it does and compared to manscape it's about equal in my eyes anyways so if you're going looking for a beard trimmer I would go with this one value-wise and quality good quality thumbs up on this one
