Even if you think the amount of water isn't enough, trust the process. They were perfect! Very solid, strong bombs. The scent got a 3 because I didn't feel it could be smelled. I didn't smell anything bad. 💁‍♀️ Though the mold was great with the kit and it's recipe, and having that specific mold is why I ultimately made this purchase, once I used my homemade bath bomb recipe, I couldn't get them to release. I may just need less liquid in my own recipe. If I could get it to work with my recipe, my only complaint would be NOT being able to order the molding part alone. It was awesome! I loved not having to beat anything for a release of the bath bomb. Remember to tilt the bowl area when mixing. The angle is important. Even though it says to wait 30 minutes before removing, we didn't, except for the first one. We did with the first one (cause I wanted a control of what to expect). That one kept its shape perfectly. The only thing that changed by removing it from the mold right away was that they ended up with a flat bottom. We wanted that effect, so it worked perfectly for us, without having to make each child wait to make their own. 🤣 The flat bottom also helps them not roll into the tub prematurely. Hopefully I can perfect our own recipe and be able to use the mold for years. I would say, as a kid "toy" especially, this is great quality, and even if it wasn't a kid toy, it works perfectly with it's own ingredients and recipe! I still wish I could purchase only the mold separately. 🤣 Just so I could have fun with others while getting more done at a time. I'd still take them out right away. Hopefully this helps! My girls and I thoroughly enjoyed the kit! The dyes did NOT color the kids or the tub. 🥰
