I have never had an ice cream maker, and I have never been around anyone else making it. I love Pioneer Woman items, so when I saw this at this price I figured I would get one so that I can make memories with my grandchildren. I made some yesterday to see how it goes. It was sooooo simple! The machine stops on its own when the ice cream is thick enough. It was like soft serve when it stopped. I chopped up some Reese’s peanut butter cups and mixed them in before leaving it in the freezer overnight. I woke up early wondering about how it hardened. It’s perfect!!!!! This was super easy, the hardest part was waiting for it to harden up. I suggest this to everyone!!

My Kids Love This

I recently tried an ice cream maker by Pioneer Woman. It comes with a variety of recipes for different flavors of ice cream, sorbet, yogurt, and gelato. It's easy to use and clean up. This is a great idea for family nights. My kids love to take turns picking out which kind to make and love helping to make it. It brings back such a feeling of nostalgia as my grandmother always made ice cream using snow when I was a child. This will give children wonderful memories to carry through life. It's so much more rewarding than going to an ice cream shop.

Pretty and Functional

The Pioneer Woman Ice Cream maker is not only pretty, it does a great job of making delicious ice cream! I used one of the recipes included with the ice cream maker, and it turned out very well. It tasted so much better than the ice cream you buy in the store. I have only one caution: The directions say not to fill the container above the maximum level mark. I would suggest keeping your ice cream ingredients below the maximum level mark. I filled the container to the maximum level mark, and it expanded up to the top of the lid. Everything ran perfectly however, and the resulting ice cream was yummy.
