I was given this same ice cream machine for a gift from Amazon and it was damaged. After an inconvenience and disappointment with the first one I recommend Walmart. It was brand new and in the box and no headaches, it if there were, my local Walmart would take great car of it.

Great ice cream maker

I bought this over 6 months ago and used it several times. I love that I don't have to freeze the bowl to make ice cream. It's ready when you are and you can clean the bowl and beater and do it again right away. I found it works best with custard ice cream. I have several ice cream makers and this is my favorite.
