My boys both ages four and six absolutely love this toy! They are both special needs and are very particular with toys. They haven't put this down since we got it. If my oldest isn't playing with it, my youngest is. They love the sounds and anything music related. They also really like that they can take this anywhere, even the tub. If you have a little one that really likes music and sounds of any kind, they'd love this! The shape of the whale is definitely a plus when it comes to this musical toy as well. My son really loved this toy both in and out of the bathtub. It's a fun musical instrument - and great for little hands. However, I would be cautious about giving this to a very young toddler as the tool for striking the xylophone is easily put into mouths and can choke. But with close supervision, it is fun!
