Cool cup but lid does not stay in cup

We purchased this cup for my 6 year olds birthday and did a drive in movie night outside at our house! All was good until his drink spilled all over him, his new blanket and chair. The lid on this cup does not fit properly. Beware if you purchase this cup and put a hot drink like coffee or tea in it while using the lid.
