Replace my broken adapter.

The adapter fits my FoodSaver unit perfectly, since my broke. However, a friend purchased a unit with no included hose or adapter, just a port on the front of the machine. I purchased an extra one for her and looked for containers, but the containers have a different port than mine, which have just the football-shaped port. Will the port that I just purchased fit the newer model containers? If not, what type of adapter will fit them?

Worked like a charm, took a chance on buying. I have a hand held for the vacuum bags which is great but it does not work on the containers. The description did not include being compatible with the hand held, it is! Now I don't have to drag out my full unit for the containers.
