The lead got jammed when I took the pencil apart, thankfully I had a tiny rod from a tube turner to push the lead to th bottom where the pencil point comes out.***EASIER WAY just turn point up on table while pressing down and put lead in from tip of pencil 😊 marks well on fabric, nice fine line😃
