Results are displayed on screen in under one second. The FT-50 includes forehead & object mode functions. Temperature readings are measured in three easy steps: Select either the Object or Body Mode preset. Position the sensor within 1.5 in of the object being measured. Then, press and release the trigger to receive a reading. Measurements of body and object temperatures can be taken in either Celsius (℃) or Fahrenheit (°F). The FT50 was designed for use by infants, children, and adults. Determine surface temperatures of objects, rooms, food, and other household items from a safe distance. Accuracy ranges for the FT-50 thermometer are within 0.1℃ / °F. Measurement history is automatically stored in the device for up to 30 measurements. Power-saving features include automatic power-off, low power consumption control, and low power reminder. Cautions: The FaceLake FT50 Temporal / Object Thermometer must be used under the proper conditions outlined in the owner's manual. Please review it carefully. Don't remove the Infrared thermometer from the measurement area until the FT50 emits a beeping sound. Do not immerse the device in liquid. Do not use the device if any signs of damage on the temperature probe or cable are found. If the device is dirty, wipe it with a cotton ball that has been saturated with a 75%+ rubbing alcohol solution, then dry thoroughly. Do not wipe the device with volatile oil, diluent, gasoline, etc. Do not store in direct sunlight, high temperature, humid, or musty places. Do not store near chemicals or corrosive gases.
