This is an excellent machine to spread masa (corn dough) on tamale corn chucks. Just remove the bottom part. I don't use it for tortillas, but always use the removable top part, otherwise the dough will stick to the rolls. You can adjust the thickness of the dough by tightening the screws with the wires on the side.
