Used as an additive, this laundry sanitizer kills 99.9% of bacteria on clothes. Tested and proven to kill SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, in 5 minutes when used as directed in pre-soak. Contains 0% bleach, works in cold water and is suitable to use with both whites and colors. Just add to the fabric softener compartment or directly into the water during the rinse cycle. Great Safe
i trust it, kids come in clothes are washed then rinsed w Lysol. My only complaint is how in very small the instructions are. The part where the clothes have to soak in the rinse cycle w the lysol for several minutes. which is way over my rinse cycle.. so most times my clothes get rinsed twice! But if it help 1 percent its worth it. i use it after guest come by they use a blanket a towel there it goes. my oldest teaches school so his around kids all day, my wish he would wear scrubs, doubtful so Lysol is my next best thing.

It makes my clothes and washing machine smell nice. By killing germs the smell of the detergent and/or softener comes from the clothes.
