When my regular Force Flex Unscented box of trash bags unavailable, I replaced it with the Force Flex Plus with odor shield (this product) because it said "Unscented" on the front of the box. We were opening presents and thought that the overwhelming perfume smell was coming from someone's new shirt, but couldn't figure out which shirt. Later, we discovered it was coming from the new "Unscented" trash bags. There was obviously a mistake when this product was labeled Unscented. For people with chemical sensitivity issues, this would be a real problem. For my family it just smells terrible. An odor of strong perfume doesn't mix well with meal preparation and it makes my food pantry smell like bad perfume instead of food. I'm returning the rest of the trash bags.

We purchased the large 140 count box; as soon as I opened the box there was immediately an overpowering and really unpleasant scent. We were hoping that it would fade over time, however, it seems the closer we get to the middle of the roll the worse it gets. I get extremely nauseous around the smell of these bags, and now the smell has leaked into the adjacent living room. I wish the advertisement on the box was more accurate and honest. Unscented is a blatantly untrue statement.
