I bought my daughter a regular 2 wheel multi-height adjustable scooter with multiple lights every where. Fancy. But at almost 4 years old it is too difficult to maneuver, it always falls. I saw this scooter with the 2 wheels on the front and is able to stand on its own was a great idea to purchase. It is very easy to put together. Super light weight. Like 2 lbs. Very sturdy and fun. It is something that will last shortly but at 4 years old, it is the right style to learn stability and quick turns. It doesn't go fast but because she is just learning how to multitask it is good. She can turn, pedal and try to get on it without the scooter falling over. This I great to have before moving to the big kids scooter.

Pros: (could also be cons depending on your child's abilities) - the wheels don't spin too fast - front two wheels help with balance - the steering doesn't go too far, so my child doesn't swing wildly while riding Cons: - mostly plastic, so easier to beak by my bigger kids - the limited steering also makes it harder to navigate Overall, for my 1 yr old, this was the PERFECT scooter. In less then a week she went from inspecting it, to zooming around the house. Really great for a toddler just starting out with a scooter.
