Perfect Neutral Pocket Palette

The size of a credit card would be the best way to describe this travel friendly neutral eyeshadow palette. The pigment is buildable and I recommend using a primer to really work the pigment out without having to layer so much powder. One more thing I noted while using is that it does break up easily when I dip a synthetic pointy brush. Small soft paddle brushes work well to pick up the matte pigment to place on the lid then use favorite brushes to blend on the lid. Its Maybelline so the quality is outstanding, of course. Soft easy to blend matte shades.

Nice set of eye shadow, but Matte not powder?

This Maybelline, The City Mini Eye Shadow Palette Makeup, in Skyscape Dusk colors has nice colors. However, I thought it would be powdering eye shadow, it seems to be matte instead of powder. I do not like matte eye shadow. I will try and see if maybe the colors are very compacted and will go on like powdering eye shadow. If it is indeed matte eye shadow, I will have to toss it out.

Wrong item.

I would have given 5 stars if it was like any other Maybelline product, but I ordered lavender shades and I received shades of brown. I had just gotten out of the hospital, and was in no shape to return the item. That seems to be an issue - wrong items, not only from Walmart, but other places I've orderedfrom.
