This pitcher is well made, elegant looking and designed to be functional. Well done! This looks so lovely on the table it makes a beautiful gift and you'll actually enjoy using it. Oh, i have arthritis so I'm extra sensitive to hand feel and weight. I detest the extra heavy design of some kitchen items which i think is to compensate for cheap material. This is not that. It is neither ridiculously heavy or that light, fly away cheap glass. It has a lovely balance and hand feel. I expect to enjoy it for many years to come.

I love this pitcher! I prefer my food and drinks in glass as opposed to plastic. The pitcher I replaced did not have a lid. The lid is great, especially if I need to put it in the fridge. The value for the $$'s is wonderful. The glass seems thin so it will probably break easily if dropped or hit too hard, but this is normal for glass anyway! It handles a full pitcher of drinks with ease. I also like things that are not the same as everyone else has! I could not be any happier with my purchase!
