Great pitcher! We just bought a new refrigerator and it does not have a water center in it so I bought this to keep water chilled. I added sliced lemon and mint. The lid has two openings a full opening and a mesh like opening. We keep it on the mesh like opening, and the lemons and mint do not get through. I love it so much I will be buying another one for plain water for our guests who prefer plain water.

This pitcher is great! I just received it, cleaned it, and have put it to use with fruit water. The lid has a great seal, and it can still easily slide between fully closed off, open for pouring, and a screen to pour through (my fruit isn't coming out). The glass is quite thin, but I like that aspect. It makes the pitcher seem way more expensive than the $19 I spent. It also is easier to lift, even when full of liquid - less weight to the empty pitcher. I bought this because I figure glass won't get stinky over time with fruit infusions, unlike the $5 plastic pitcher I also considered.

these pitchers are really prety and relatively affordable. the only thing i would say with them is they are made of thin easily breakable glass so if you bump it into something just a little to rough it will crack, unfortunately i learned that the hard way and i to purchase another one so that was my only problem with the product. the second one i bought ive had no issue its beautiful and the top seals nice and keeps drinks cold for a decent amount of time, like i said jist be gently with it and you shouldnt ever have to worry. moral of the story i would definitely recommend this pichter.
