If you're thinking of purchasing this size for a Krakty project, consider that the lid is about 10" x 13." I imagine I will only put one fruiting vegetable, 2 heads of lettuce, or maybe 5 - 6 romain or onion in 2 inch net cups. It seems dark enough to not need to paint.
