CLEAN & CLEAR Essentials Deep Cleaning Oil-Free Toner 8 oz (Pack of 2)

I've been using Clean & Clear's Deep Cleaning Astringent for a few weeks now, and it's become a go-to when my skin feels oily or when breakouts loom. It has a strong, slightly tingly feel (thanks to the 2% salicylic acid) that really pulls out oil and cleans deep where regular toners seem to leave behind residue. My pores look less congested and I'm seeing fewer new pimples after using it several times a week. That said, it can dry out the skin if I overuse it, so I always follow up with a good moisturizer. Overall, for the price, it does what it promises: deep clean without being wildly expensive.

This astringent definitely means business. It removes leftover oil and buildup fast and gives that unmistakable “deep clean” feeling, thanks to salicylic acid. That said, it can be too much. The formula leans harsh, with noticeable stinging and dryness if used too often, especially for sensitive or dry-leaning skin. It's effective, but not forgiving and that's why I gave it 3 stars. Overall, it's a solid occasional acne fighter, but not a gentle everyday staple.
