Very Solid Buy

There were only 25 reviews for this unit compared to hundreds the for the more popular buys, but every review for the Sony was 5 stars and had glowing comments. We had an optical cable already plugged into the tv so I only had to plug in the power and optical input. Once powered on, before I could even read the instructions, the subwoofer connected itself to the sound bar. That's all I did and from that moment on we had excellent sound. Of note, the sound effects and tone controls really work to provide a real difference when activated. No complaints after 3 weeks. When is comes to trusted names in electronics i'll go with Sony over onn. or Visio any day. Also this unit sounds better than the Bose soundbar I purchased from the same price range. Buy with confidence.
