Investing for Kids: How to Save, Invest, and Grow Money, (Paperback)

The kind of book I wish I had growing up. It takes big, sometimes intimidating financial concepts like investing, saving, risk, and compound interest, and explains them in a way that's clear, engaging, and fun. The illustrations and characters (Mr. Finance and Investing Woman) do a great job keeping kids interested, and the activities throughout the book really help make the lessons stick. My 11 year old found it easy to understand and actually wanted to keep reading. As a parent, I appreciated how the book builds from basic money skills, like budgeting and saving, into more advanced topics like stocks, diversification, and responsible investing. It doesn't just teach kids what money is, but also how to think about it long-term. I recommend for children ages 8–12, and even as a shared read for parents and children to learn together.

My fifth grade daughter joined a Stock Market club at school. I bought this kids book for her to learn more about Investing and financial options to help her succeed in the club, and in the future. This book has great advice!
