I sew as a business so scissors are a top priority for me. I like that they are hefty but not too heavy and easy to sharpen. They are cheap enough that they can be replaced without concern. I have not tried them on light-weight fabrics but they have worked well for quilting cotton and mid to heavyweight linen.
