Great! Love it. Fan is a godsend. The only thing is don't let it run all the way to zero. If it does, you need to charge the oculus up to 20-25% before it will re-sync. I didn't know that, charged the battery all ready to go, but oculus itself was dead. I read if it gets close to 20% (battery all used up and now running on oculus battery) you need to plug in or it will disconnect. Oh, also I should also mention— remember once you are wearing the halo, it is no longer soundproof. 😉

To me the price is worth it. Comfortable for long use. Why meta has not switched to a halo style I don't know. Bobovr s3 Pro halo-style head strap was a game-changer for my son and i. I couldn't get the original meta head strap to fit my son without discomfort and for me it was ok but it put pressure on the back of my head. All this was fixed with the bobovr. Super comfortable and easy to adjust. Pros- Comfortable with great battery life. Purchasing additional packs allows for endless wireless play. Neutral- Fan is kind of love-hate. It is nice to have and I like the adjustable speeds. But for effective use during intense game play. The fan needs to be cranked and is super loud to the point of drowning out gameplay. I like having it but not a selling point in my case. Slightly difficult to install, but for good reason. You don't want your $500 headset flying across the room Cons- Everything has a downside and as much as i want to put this in Neutral they are a factor of con.. The Bobovr s3 pro is expensive but Bobovr does offer three alternatives at a lower cost. I would have liked to have seen a second C-port added for the one being taken up by the headset. Not to charge the batteries but for the headset.

Significant improvement over the stock head strap. A must for long gaming sessions, and makes watching feature length films hassle free. Even when I have the Quest connected to my PC with a link cable I leave the battery on for the counterweight, and it powers the fan.
