This is a nice single serving coffee maker. A little finicky at first and some trial and error but after I got to understand the do's and don'ts, it been working just fine. I mix and blend my own ground coffee to achieve a half-caffeine ratio and use a single use reuseable plastic filter. I used that in my old Keurig when I was not using K-cups and the single use reuseable plastic filter fits the Bella, but the lid on the Bella pops open during the brewing process unless I stood there holding the lid down. Who wants to do that? And unless I held the lid down, it popped open every time. What a mess! The Bella is supplied with a larger drop in basket but needs individual paper filters which are larger than the ones I already have for my single use reusable plastic filter. Now that I have purchased the larger paper filters that fit the Bella basket, I can either brew a single cup or use my 16 oz. Stainless-Steel travel mug and brew a larger serving. Once I figured everything out, it's been working fine. It does brew faster than the Keurig and taste just as good. The Bella is a great single use coffee maker if you are only using K-cups and with a little finesse works fine with the supplied basket. Plus, the price is easier on your pocketbook. I do recommend this Bella single serving coffee maker.
