They are clear and so I can barely see them in the tub, which is nice visually. One needs to make sure the tub is absolutely dry and give it enough time to adhere. It provides enough friction to prevent slipping, but the texture is agreeable. When adhering the item, I would recommend sticking a side of it and then rolling it flat. Then use the flattening device to push out any air bubbles. Any remaining air bubbles they will allow water to seep under where it adheres eventually loosen it stickiness

Easy solution for safe standing in showers

Easy to install, excellent grip, and not uncomfortable on the feet. (However, if you want to take baths, do NOT use these as it hurts to slide your soft skin on). My husband was very ill and needed to be secure in the shower, and these worked excellent, and I was able to apply them easily. They do give off a foul chemical scent. Which led me to wash them with Dawn dish soap a few times (along with airing out the bathroom). However, it did lessen after a couple of weeks, and it was worth the smell to keep my husband safe.
