Assembly was challenging, thankfully dad was there to help put it together! We love this chair though. Baby started out reclined and then moved to sitting straight up. He absolutely loves this chair and it's so easy to clean. Would recommend. We haven't gotten to the part where we transition to a kitchen stool or table/chair yet but so far it's worth the money just for the high chair component
