In exchange for receiving a sampling of Rachel Ray Nutrish Small Breed Real Chicken and Veggies Recipe dog food, I am happy to write this review. My dog (Jenny) is a medium sized mixed breed (mostly lab) whose usual food has been lamb and rice formula from another brand. I wasn't sure how she would take to a different taste and brand. I followed the recommended transition instructions that were conveniently printed on the bag and Jenny became accustomed to the Nutrish food quickly. She is now only eating the Nutrish and seems to enjoy it very much. I like that every Nutrish purchase helps animals in need as a portion of each sale goes to the Rachel Ray Foundation that funds charitable organizations supporting local communities through animal rescue, fostering, adoptions, medical needs and supplies.

I received this dog food to try and give my review. I would buy it again. My dogs loved it. The food bits were soft and easy for them to chew. One of my dogs always comes and stares at us to let us know he is out of food. He seemed to do this double time with this food. He was always wanting more. The food itself didn't smell that great to me but they loved it. I noticed that it did not give them gas like some brands do so that is a major plus. I liked that it has real chicken and real vegetables in it. Overall it is a great product and it made my dogs happy.
