Nutural World - Sesame and Dates Spread 35 oz (1kg) - Great Taste Award Winner - Pure 100% Single Ingredient

The flavor of the spread was as one would expect - it tasted mostly of sesame seeds with a little sweetness from the dates blended in. I thought that the sesame seeds had a slight bitterness to them, but it was balanced out well by the dates. The consistency of the spread was thick, more like a paste than a runny tahini spread. The contents of the jar were slightly separated when I first opened the jar, but it was really easy to mix it all together. The texture was mostly smooth, with a few teeny bits of seeds here and there. I didn't really mind though, since it made it feel more like a homemade product rather than a mass-produced item. The spread was easy to smear on other food items, like bread and bananas, and was easy to mix with other ingredients too. As a whole, the spread was tasty and unique, although I wouldn't call it exceptional. My main gripe is that, in my opinion, the product is more expensive than what it should be. Even though it spread was good, it was not amazing enough to make me that that, with only about 5 servings per jar, it's worth the cost.
