Modern Innovations Camp Oven

I live off-grid in a tiny house with solar and propane as my primary energy sources. This is a smaller version of the same oven I learned to bake bread in, over the camp fire, as a child. Now, I bake everything from breads and casseroles, to full dinners, over the propane burner, with this oven. Veggies can heat in pans on top while meat and potatoes bake within. I set the temp for about 100° less than any recipe calls for, as this heats up quickly and bakes hotter. Test your unit out first, a few times, until you know how it heats best for you, and how your particular stove responds. Outside temperature, wind, or changes in location above the heat source will also affect changes to baking time and temp. I love this oven. 👍 I only wish it was a heavier steel, and made in America.

it took a minute to figure out how to set up, didn't come with set up instructions. Did figure it out tho. it does heat up and retain heat higher than reg oven. so recipes calling for 350° F , I found 250° - 275°F was best. I think It's Great, and it will be a Huge Asset to Camping, or in the backyard on Hot Summer days, when I don't want to heat the house up... folds up nicely for packing. Would Highly Recommend this Item.
