I haven't used a slow cooker in a long time, so I was hesitant to buy. But, this slow cooker is easy to use, cleans very easily, perfect size for even a roast. I use it all the time and every thing has come out fantastic. I purposely did not want all the "electronics," just a simple slow cooker - so this model does not have anything "automatic." As I said, I chose this model for that reason. It is exactly what I wanted!
