I used to feed my dog purina pro plan for a long time. After a while I noticed she struggled with constipation and apparent tummy aches (she ate grass and puked often). Her breath and she was also smelly. She slowly stopped eating it, I could tell she just wasn’t healthy or feeling good. So I researched good and healthy brands of dog food and found this brand was in the top ten of best dog foods. Since switching her, no more tummy aches, has normal bowel movements daily, eats more often, no longer stinky, her coat looks healthy, and her eating is consistent! I can tell she enjoys the food, she has more energy and looks healthy. Although it is an expensive brand and she goes through it a lot quicker than her previous food, I know it’s worth her health and life longevity!

My Bailey is hard to please he is okay at first then turns his head. He seems to be doing okay on this and been eating it for several months. I used to buy it somewhere else till I found the price was so much better here at Walmart. I do put a topper on it to keep him interested. He also has bad allergies he has done well with this dog food. No biting or licking his feet with this food. And you can't beat the price. His coat is so shining and seems to have no digestion problems. His poo comes out normal.

Listen, I've been in a long-term food war with my Blue Heeler, Buddy. This dog is 13 years old and has turned his nose up at everything from gourmet kibble to food that costs more per pound than my own groceries. I even boiled chicken breasts and mashed it all up with sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, %26 spinach. He's basically Gordon Ramsay in dog form—minus the British accent but with way more attitude. Speaking of noses, we have turned ours up at the special smells that come from him after eating. He gets gassy. I want to turn him in for a rose with thorns, even. Enter Jinx Salmon Sweet Potato Carrot Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. I don't know what sorcery they put in this bag, but Buddy licks his lips (do dogs have lips?) and walks up to me like, “You know what time it is.” That's his signal. That's how I know it's the chosen food. We've been on this epic “Will He Eat It?” journey for over a decade. I've wasted enough money to fund a small food truck. But now? NOW? This boy actually eats. Willingly. Happily. Like a dog who's just discovered joy for the first time. The joy I get is breathing normal air again because Jinx is easy on his old tummy and the bouts of south wind have almost completely stopped. To the creators of Jinx: thank you for giving my dog a reason to look forward to mealtime—and for giving me my sanity and fresh air back. If Buddy could write this review himself, he'd give it 5 stars, a paw print, and a polite demand for a lifetime supply.
