Ignored spot clean only and it partially unraveled

So, not sure if this is mentioned in the product description or not, but on the packaging it says not to wash it, spot clean only. That wasn't going to work for me so i put it in my front loading washer on delicate cycle and what happened was that in one spot where the yarns are connected end to end, that connection came apart and part of it unraveled. After a bit of effort, I was able to reweave it and now I will just have to hand sew those two ends together. I will for sure wash it again, just can't use it without washing, but before the next wash I'm going to look for any more of those spots where the yarn might be connected end to end and I'll reinforce those with hand sewing.
