Unbelievable!! My super picky Chihuahua loves these...loved them at first smell...loved them so much I got him to eat his dinner by hiding tiny pieces of these treats in his turkey and rice!!! He cleaned his plate!! I am still so excited I am using more exclamation points than I should! Lol! Yay!! I had never heard of this brand before, but I read the ingredients of food and treats I give my dogs so I know if the ingredients are good quality, and these ingredients pass the test. So how do I judge if my dogs like one treat over another? How do I know if the scent is a good one?My dogs recognize when I get Amazon packages. When my Min Pin hears or sees me open an Amazon package he comes running, and then my Yorkie gets in on the excitement. My Miniature Pinscher is 9 and my Yorkie is 3. If the package contains a treat I let them sniff the package to see their responses. If there is a lot of excitement to the package, that is a good sign. I would say they had a good reaction to the scent of this package. They was some excitement and jumping up and down.After I judge their reactions to the package, they both get a treat to fine tune my understanding of their reaction. Both dogs have to sit for treats. My Yorkie seems to do the same process no matter what he thinks of the treat. He eats it, so he likes it at least a certain amount. He is more discerning about dog clothes than treats. Min Pin has easier to understand behavior about treats, so I rely mostly on him for treat and food reviews. He pretty much chews on anything, but how he first reacts to a treat and where he goes to eat it tells me how much he likes it. Once I give my min pin a chew treat, if my min pin runs to his bed or to the front door mat with it (run like you stole it), he likes it. If they fight over the treat because one dog finished theirs sooner than the other, then they really like the treat. My Yorkie was definitely scoping out the treat as my Min Pin was finishing his treat. I nip that behavior in the bud, but it tells me the treat earns a 5 for sure. My Yorkie and Min Pin both like this treat, and want more whenever they see the package and taste the treat.
