Merrick Lane Twin Platform Bed with Headboard - Light Grey Fabric Upholstered Frame - 14 Wooden Slats - No Box Spring Required

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been in the market for a new platform type bed frame for sometime now. I have a plain metal one now but honestly it is not meeting my needs. I wanted a frame where my mattress actually did not move, slide around or require some kind of adhesive to stay put. This frame met all my needs and it came with an attached headboard! My first love for this frame came from the fact that my pillow are no longer lost behind my bed, the headboard keeps them fairly in place and I am no longer waking up in the middle of the night to find my lost pillows. My bed also has not moved unexpectedly due to the rounded corners on the side of the frame. My mattress is "locked in" to the frame and does not wiggle around. I also really like how the headboard is not just wood but upholstered with a fabric that matches all of my sheets and bedroom décor. I like being able to sit up and read with my back against it and not require a dozen pillows to feel comfortable. My only issue I had with this frame was the box it was delivered in. The company used a thinner cardboard box so by the time it got to me the plastic straps on the side had dug completely though the box in the 4 spots it touched on the sides of the box. I could see into the box (almost shove my whole arm in) by the time It arrived to my door and the plastic straps were about to rip off from the Fedex guy using them as "handles" Other then that the frame itself came undamaged in one piece. I would recommend this frame to anyone looking for a simple platform bed, or just anyone who hates the need to purchase a box spring just to use the basic metal frames mattresses sit on.
