They are sold well built , made of iron not. Cheap plastic. And concrete. The finish is quite good and they tighten up and stay tightened up. You can't go grind buying this set. If you're just starting out or wanna work out, I bought some extra weights with it and they fit perfectly. Also, I'm loving this purchase.
