Yes, we recommend! Good value for the price. Stores on hook or in drawer. Easy turning for moderately arthritic hands. Not heavy. Dishwasher cleans. Most times we use one opener on top. But if the lid is very stubborn, add one on the bottom as well. Gives a good grip with less strength. Our wonderful Jarware Honey Dipper's handle is about 1.5 inches high above the mason jar lid. We made a small slit in the center of the silicone to use over lid. Works so well to turn the honey lid, Did not rip. Opens many size jar lids, even small ones. We have larger jar openers that work well. This gets used more because it is quick and easy Adjusting is not needed . Simply grab it, turn, pop, the lid OPENS! *If your hands are quite weak or painful, this opener may not be perfect for you. However, at $2 each, one can experiment at low cost.
