In addition to a USG-certified visibility of 2 Nautical Miles, the waterproofing and dust-proofing standard of this light is IP:65.

Light fits perfectly. It helped that there was 2 different ways to mount it. The only gripe I have is I wish the wires were a little bigger so they would just plug into existing wires. But, it still works fine.
