I have told everyone how delicious these are. Seriously tastes like the milkshake without the Oreo pieces. It is not salty or chalky. It has a fantastic chocolate flavor that makes it feel almost wrong. It is a bit difficult to shake while mixing up because of the bubbles causing pressure. But honestly could care less for a post workout treat it is delicious. You could freeze this and blend it and I wouldn’t be able to tell a difference

Taste is EVERYTHING!!

I had weight loss surgery in 2005 and have been supposed to be drinking protein shakes all this time to supplement the small amounts of food I can eat. I have NEVER found a protein shake that I like the taste of, they're mostly just gross, until I found Alani. Now, so far, Alani only has 3 flavor of shakes; Cookies n cream, fruity cereal (think, fruity pebbles or froot loops) and Savory, which is supposed to be like salty and sweet. Anyway, the Cookies n cream is the only flavor I like. It is really good! Alani needs to work on other flavors, I didn't care for the other 2. Cookies n cream!! It's good, it's not thick and gross, doesn't leave an after taste and is 30 g of protein per 1 shake. Go try them!

Ignore the other reviews about the taste. I’m autistic and often won’t eat/drink things if I haven’t tried them before/don’t know what to expect. However I recently had dental surgery and had to have a liquid diet for a short while afterwards, and the prices of all protein meal replacement shakes I could find were absolutely outrageous. (And I’m broke.) This was the most affordable option at the time, and the other two flavors were out of stock, so I bought it anyways despite my fear of new things. They taste like if you made an Oreo/chocolate chip cookie milkshake with ice and then left it until the ice melted. Watered down a little, yeah, but considering I wasn’t allowed to have any solid foods at the time? I appreciated being able to have something that still tasted this good. I don’t even normally get cravings, but these made me badly want some chocolate chip cookies. So I guess not great if you’re trying to use them for weight loss and can’t control yourself with cravings. But otherwise good protein shakes.
