I've been wanting a new electric percolator for a while now. I've just never liked the taste of drip coffee and since I have an electric stove, it's difficult to use an on-the-stovetop type. When I saw this one, I was super excited because it is about half the price of most. So okay, let's be honest. This coffee percolator is not of the highest quality. It is rather thin and lightweight. It may not last too long. However, having said that, this little pot brews a fantastic cup of super hot coffee! It has markings inside the pot pertaining to how many cups you want to make. On the basket that holds the ground coffee, there are also markings to help you figure out how much coffee to put in. Coffee stays hot so long as you keep it turned on. This pot has a base and you can take the entire pot off the base, making it easier to pour without the cumbersome cord pulling you back. One of the things I hate about drip coffee is all the plastic. The water sits in plastic and passes through hot plastic. That can't be good for you. This pot is stainless steel which should cut back on the amount of plastics ingested. Overall, this is a great electric percolator and a good value for the price. And, well, it's just fun watching it perk! I would definitely recommend this percolator especially if you have never used a one before.

LOVE this machine! It is super fast %26 coffee tastes great! Haven't used a perc machine in many years. I'm using filters from drip machine, just making a tiny slit in bottom to fit the stem so no grounds go through. Coffee stays hot a long time even after it's turned off. Left over morning coffee makes the best iced coffee I've had in decades. It's my new favorite summer drink! Great price too. Use 1 coffee scoop per cup. %26 do not submerge pot!
