Previously I had a Mr. Coffee mug warmer for 20 years. Although it stood the test of time, the heat it generated was insufficient in keeping my coffee hot. It was always lukewarm. This Black Mug Warmer has 3 temperature settings of which I use the highest setting. This highest setting keeps my coffee hot. I never use the 2 lesser temp. settings so I can't comment on them. The temperature is most important criteria for me which is why I give it a 5 star rating. The only criticism I have which is minor is, one has to apply a little pressure to button in order to turn it off while holding the unit.

This is an excellent drink warmer. If you are looking for a product to warm cold drinks quickly, this may not be the best option (depending on what you consider quickly) as it takes up to 20 mins on the highest temperature to fully warm it up. Not bad if you have time to spare. It does keep drinks warm, actually quite well! Word for the wise, as you drink, you may want to shift the temperature down, (having less fluid in your cup) as it can be fairly hot, once you drink it again. Overall, good product, would like more color options, but the product itself is worth every penny.

Nice Hot Warmer

Love this warmer! It keeps my coffee hot (I use the middle setting of 131). The heating surface is a little bit large for me since I only use it for a mug, but it would be great for using a small bowl to keep other food warm as well.
