Install it in doorways, hallways or at the top or bottom of stairs with included hardware (no drilling required for square banisters). Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included): drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, measuring tape.

Ordered this to replace the gate that is pictured but was sent a different model twice. It wouldn't be a problem but the new one does not match the old hardware and the locking mechanism is not as secure or childproof
