Neat ice cube trays and storage

I really like this ice cube tray(s) and storage container. The overall size works fine in my average sized fridge freezer, and the lid makes it easy to either store the trays when not in use and also allows me to stack other items on top when necessary. As noted, the frozen ice cubes do not immediately release, so if you need a 2-3 second utensil it's not this one. However, a couple of very easy tips to make it a 20 second utensil. When attempting to release the ice cubes immediately after freezing either place your hands on top of bottom surface of tray or quickly run hot water on bottom of tray and then push the ice cubes with your thumbs and they easily fall freely into the storage container. imo it's worth the price and it doesn't bother me that the lid prongs do not push the frozen ice cubes easily unless you wait for a few mins or try one of the above suggestions.

I was rather apprehensive about this item, but decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I absolutely love this. It doesn't take up much space in my freezer, as you can stack the ice trays on top of the bin while the water is freezing. Then I let the ice trays sit out for about 5 mins, turn them upside down and tap on the lid to release the cubes into the bin. It's great!!

We have an ice maker installed on our refrigerator. However, our water is bad. Even with a filter, it does help, but not like we would like it. Unlike old school ice cube trays, these trays don't have to be twisted to crack the ice out of them. The drawback is the ice cubes are small. If you have a large family that uses a lot of ice, this isn't for you unless you have several of this product. It's perfect for 2 or 3 people.
