I grabbed this when I felt a cold coming on, mostly because I wanted something that would help me sleep through the night instead of waking up miserable every few hours. It definitely did what I needed it to do and took care of that scratchy throat I had. The biggest surprise was the flavor — elderberry sounded like it could go either way, but it's actually much more tolerable than the traditional versions. Still medicine, obviously, but not the “brace yourself” experience. Within about 30–45 minutes I felt the relief kick in, the tickle in my throat gone, and it helped calm the symptoms enough that I could get solid rest, which honestly makes the biggest difference when you're trying to recover. What I liked: • Helped me sleep through the night • Relieved cold/flu symptoms...bye bye congestion • Flavor was more tolerable than expected • Worked fairly quickly • Reliable brand Things to know: • Definitely causes drowsiness (which is the point) • Still tastes like medicine — just better than some Overall, this is one of those products I keep around because when you need it, you really need it. It did exactly what I hoped it would do. Would buy again? Yes.
