This stuff works alright, considering the alcohol content you may be floating after. I have a low tolerance for that but it does knock out pain. Just make sure you're in for the day and winding down. The max description lives up to its name. Nyquil wasn't messing around!!!

Worth the Price for Fast Releif

I find this works really fast! It probably gives the same relief as taking Tylenol except you don't have to wait as long for the full strength to be in effect. For me, when pain hits, I want it gone as quickly as possible, and though this is more expensive than taking Tylenol, the fast relief makes it worth the price.

Works Fast

I used Vicks Painquil Liquid after my knee replacement surgery once my prescription pain meds were complete. It was very effective in relieving my pain. It works much faster than the tablets. It does contain alcohol and made me very drowsy, so I had to take it at night before bedtime. The PM Painquil I tried was too strong for me. I am very sensitive to the drowsiness ingredient in it. It had a lingering hangover effect the next day. So I only take the regular.
