It's nice to have some classic, kind of old-timey story options for the Story Dream Machine. The language was just different back then. Perfect selection for my sons who loves boats, trains and cats, too! The readers they chose seem appropriate for the stories and the extra little background noises are fun. Some of the slides go out of focus and you have to refocus them but I think almost all of them do that from my experience and we have about 21 stories. This has become part of our bed time routine. It's nice because we have a 7 month old and a 3 1/2 year old and the baby isn't quite ready to sit through a bunch of bedtime stories like the older one. We do three of the Dream Machine stories as a family then the older one goes and has his final bedtime stories read to him in his room and this gives them a little taste of story time together.
