Daily Feeding Guide: Weight of cat: 5 lb: 3/8-1/2 cups; Weight of cat: 10 lb: 5/8-7/8 cups; Weight of cat: 15 lb: 7/8 to 1-1/4 cups. These amounts are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. Feeding this food for the first time? Mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. For maximum benefit, this product must be fed as the only food. Use of supplements or mixing with any other food is not recommended. Keep fresh water available at all times! We recommend that you take your pet to the veterinarian at least twice a year for regular health check-ups. Protect from moisture. Store in a cool, dry place.

When I adopted Buttercup as a wee kitten, she had a diarrhea issue. The vet said it may or may not go away ... which it did not. I realized it turned into a painful, bloody, explosive ordeal every time she went potty. It was all over her little butt. She did not like to play alot because I realized it was that painful for her. Multiple vet trips and even more diet changes and powders were no good. Then I bought Hills Science Diet Adult Hairball last year. Buttercup is a different cat!!
