Now my favorite frozen green beans.

There are many vegetables I prefer eating produce fresh, not frozen. But if prepared correctly, Bird's Eye frozen allows me to enjoy the crisp, firm texture I desire and always prefer with short time cooking conveniences. I just lay tlhe green beans on flat pan, season them with my favorite herbs or other seasonings, pour just a bit of good quality olive oil or butter (or both), then oven bake at no less than 375 degrees (I use my counter top broiler oven) just a few minutes until beans remain at full length shape and still firm and crisp or near crisp, depending on your bite test. I am single, hate to cook longer than 30 minutes with special holiday home dinners as exceptions. I enjoy eating healthy but meals have to be a diversie range of colors, texture and taste. Not all fozen vegetables translate to my preferred texture regardless after thawed or cooking method. But I will be adding Bird's Eye long thinnish green beans to my list of regular grocery purchases.

One of my favorite things is fresh green beans with bacon and small potatoes. This always takes a few hours cooking, as well as made a large pot full. But I discovered that with these frozen beans I can make a smaller batch for one person. They are quite good with being the same ingredients but with less work and shorter cook time. For me I use 2 bags of beans and bacon and potatoes as desired.

Great Green Beans!

These green beans are great and taste like fresh. I microwave them for 4-5 minutes, then throw them in a hot skillet with melted butter, onions and mushrooms. Saute until the onions and mushrooms are done and the green beans have some color on them. Company worthy!
